Ana Pelaez, a skilled Malaga golfer, finished in joint second place in golf competition played at Sotogrande’s La Reserva Golf, as part of the Aramco Team Series tournament. The early poor perfarmance of the Malagueña team did not discourage her and pressed on, never going over par and keeping the pressure on leader Nelly Korda. Peláez was born in Málaga in 1998 and has turned to professional golf in 2021 after an impressive run in amateur golf competitions worldwide, and regular appearances in top spot in local tournaments like Copa Andalucia.
