The legendary hotel El Fuerte has been a symbol of Marbella for 65 years. It has now begun a project to upgrade it to 5-star status. The project is expected to complete in March 2023, with an investment of 31 million euros. It is hoped that the renovation will help bring back the glamour that brought it to fame in the 1980s.
