The Internations Expat Insider organisation has published the results of its yearly survey, in which Spain ranked second after Mexico. Foreign residents of Spain liked the quality of healthcare, the friendliness of the people, culture, but most of all the availability of leisure activities. Obviously, Spain’s climate and weather makes it easier for visitors and residents to get out and enjoy these activities. Spain has always ranked in the top 10 for quality of life and consistently featured among the best worldwide for its leisure options, since the inception of the survey in 2014. Spain comes in at a notably high 13th place (out of 53) for the affordability of housing.
