Malaga city has registered one of the highest hotel occupancy rates in its history during new year’s eve 2022. It is estimated that around 93% of hotel space was occupied, higher than even the 2019 equivalent period. The airport authority of Spain, AENA, has also confirmed that there have been 1% more flight traffic through Malaga airport than the 2019 period. This confirms Malaga as a favourite destination for not only summer holidays.
